General info: People keep asking me about how I paint eyes, lips, hair and textures in general so here is the first of the series that I'm about to create. :) It's the first time that I create a video tutorial and use a movie maker, plus, my pc experiences several issues so please forgive my mistakes (the typos are from tiredness and I saw them when it was too late :/ ). If you have any questions about the tutorial, please feel free to ask! :D I created this tutorial in 12 hours approximately.

Introduction: My tutorial is about how to paint a realistic eye in photoshop in my way of working regarding texturing / nailing / refining/ colors / shadows / lights. The goal of this tutorial is giving you ideas about your painting styles and inspire you of making a good, good practicing. Because practice makes perfect and never stops. :D

Now, before you watch this tutorial, I would highly suggest you practice with your brushes and test them in several modes, opacity and colors. Also, test them over other colors, for example, see what effect has a dark brown color on a beize one, in different brushes (yes, even the ones that give texture-effects), brush modes and opacities :) ) The brushes I used for skin textures come from :iconnathies-stock: and the carcoal brush for the shadow on the eyelid is an accustomed brush which comes along with photoshop :) Also, it is needed you have knowledge of how Photoshop works. :)

Remeber that brushes for texturing, can have more than one usage. For example, I use a lot the dust brush, the one with small dots inside, for achieving the texture of leather, or add small lights on lips, skin or dust :XD: Let your imagination free and experiment with Photoshop tools! :D Also, listen to music that speaks to your heart and summons your Muse (aka inspiration). A total must when I paint. (I didn't insert inspirational music / the music I hear while painting in my video due to copyrights but you can always squeeze the mute-button :XD:)

More info: There is no need of giving me credits or something like that, I merely want this tutorial to be helful and useful to you and cover your painting needs. I am a self-taught artist and I can feel how important this is for someone who is trying to learn how to paint. However, I would be very, very happy to see how my tutorial helped you out with your art, so, if you remember me, just drop by and show me what you have created!

I hope you enjoy the tutorial and above all, find it useful.
Thank you of viewing and have a good practicing! :la::heart:

Oh my god, I Googled up 'Realistic Eye Reference' and this first thing that popped up was this. I didn't know it was even a drawing until I saw a signature, outstanding job.

You have every right not to like my work, I respect and accept it, but you have absolutely no right to be offensive towards it.

It can`t be tutorial, because this is wrong. Not realistic. The white part of the eye is like a blurred sheet of paper. In the picture there is no volume and no visible relief. The plus is that it is copied from the already processed photos.

Stating only why you don't like my artwork / tutorial, is acceptable and respectable, but still, doesn't excuse your rude comment above.
Look man, personally, constructive and useful art-conversations are very welcomed by my side, but if your intention here is only to belittle my stuff just because you don't like it, instead of discussing in a polite way, then there is no point in futher conversation. I got your point anyway. :)
